Rear tire chains are rubbing on the cab on my Kubota L4740 tractor. Can the wheels be moved out or are spacers?
Are there spacers available? The tractor is a year 2009.
Most farm tractors have slotted axles to set the back spacing on the rear wheels. Look at the axle that extends out of the rear. If there are several slots in the axle this will tell you that you can move the wheel in or out on the axle. There is a on most farm tractors a large outer rim with a center bolted into it. At the center of this hub there is another section with usually 2 bolts in it. You loosen these bolts to allow you to be able to move the entire wheel assembly either in or out into another one of these slots.
